When in Rome

Earlier this year I had the pleasure of meeting Mistress Jean Bardot in her honest-to-God dungeon.

It was a surreal experience.

A friend of mine wanted to buy me an outfit to wear to my visit and, well, I like presents, lol. It was a very elaborate vinyl sissy dress that although was very much outside of my normal wardrobe preferences, it was, admittingly, perfect for the visit.

It took foreeeeeever to put on.

But it was surprisingly fun to wear. Jean radiates confidence and just… commands a room so wearing something that symbolized submission was very appropriate.

My friend Sybil, who assists Jean, showed me around and gave my etiquette tips for the day. I am not into the whole… domination thing but I do feel it’s important to be respectful, especially when you are a guest at someone’s home, or in this case, dungeon.

I am making this all sound soooo seedy but in truth Jean is lovely. Friendly, chatty, and very personable. Sybil was just as charming as she always is and I had a wonderful afternoon getting a peek into a world that is very different and very fascinating.

We took some pictures courtesy of Lucas with Soul Focus Studio and looking back at the photos I cringe a little. The dress is ridiculous. BUT I suppose that was intentional. It’s admittingly cute and it was super fun to wear, buuuuut it’s so far outside of what I normally wear (even when I am pushing my comfort zone at a photo shoot) that it’s a little, well, bizarre.

But since I have no shame lol here’s a shot from that day.

It was a fun day, a fun dress to wear, and it makes me cringe and laugh a little when I look at this picture. I’m tempted to wear it again for a proper photo shoot just to see if the dress has any, ah, untapped potential.

Love, Hannah
