Hi!
Huge news! I am a published author! I have three books coming out today!
April Fool’s, obviously.
I have been playing around with Photoshop lately and I thought it would be fun to create book covers for novels that don’t exist. I don’t know why I thought it would be fun but it was!
This silly idea started when I found a website that generated random book title ideas. I spent a few minutes refreshing the page until SPACE GALAXY ADVENTURE popped up. It was the most generic book title ever and I wondered what the cover to SPACE GALAXY ADVENTURE would look like. It felt like a campy 1960’s novel so I got to work.

I have zero idea what is happening here. Who is this robot? How can I breathe in space? How can Saturn be so close to the moon without its gravity affecting it? These are questions I do not have answers to.
But it would be fun to make a short cheesy film to find out.
The above image is probably the stupidest thing I have ever created and I love it so much.
I went back to the same website and although no new titles inspired me in the same way, there were sure a lot of murdery and crime titles being generated. I thought about pulp fiction novels and crime magazines from the 1940’s and how so many of them were, well, very sexy. Sometimes a femme fatale was the star. Sometimes she was a victim. Sometimes she was the killer.
And a lot of them had “spicy” in the title. So, I ran with it.

Again, I have no idea what this book is about but I imagine that the girl stabs the killer in his eye with her stiletto.
To finish this little trilogy, I thought it would be fun to do a romance cover. It didn’t really turn out that way but it looks like a guilty pleasure beach read. This racy fabricated novel is probably about someone cheating on their wife.

These were so fun to do. I’m tempted to do more.
The final piece of inspiration for these covers was Taylor Swift. The text on all of these things are lyrics from her songs.
I hope you like these and if anyone wants to make a movie called SPACE GALAXY ADVENTURE! please let me know, lol.
Love, Hannah
Too funny Hannah! I enjoy the art loving, creative side of you! A nice light hearted theme in the wake of some serious Easter discussion hangover 🤕
Stay cool and fun girl!

I got Taylor Swift’s autograph yesterday. April Fools! I cannot stand her voice! She really screwed up the Christmas song, “Last Christmas!”

They say you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, but I would imagine each of these books would be fabulous… and quite sexy;) I would love to see more of these!

I have been involved in international publishing. Once upon a time I did the covers for the book block authors submitted. I found it easier, and alot cheaper, to work directly with authors rather than trying to maintain control of the author-cover artist-marketing storm. The software available now and templates for online publishing provides access for easy entry and unless you’re a major author you can do as well marketing your own books.1) use newsletter to build folowing 2) have a hosted event to draw audience 3) sell books at events
