Diving into the world of femme clothes is like being dropped into a labyrinth with no map and the walls constantly rearranging themselves. Just when you think you are going the right way, BAM! You’re wrong.
Sizing is not unlike that. Just when you have figured out what dress size you are, BAM! You’re wrong.
I’m a size 12 dress (most of the time) in dresses, but it’s never a guarantee. I have a wide torso so while many dresses will fit around my waist, they may not zip up properly, especially when I have my breast forms on. Also, a size 12 skirt will slide right off me since I have no hips. All clothes are different, all designers and stores have their own size chart and of course, our own bodies change over time. Also! Femme clothes are designed for the typical (but not universal) femme body shape so if you are rectangular like I am, good luck babe.
There are so many questions about ALL OF THIS that seem straightforward but are a cluster of qualifiers and variables. EVERYTHING depends on EVERYTHING. Being prepared mentally for making mistakes is the key.
