Multitudes and Misunderstandings

I have a new article for The Breast Form Store

Whenever I write about labels (I hate that word, we are not cans of soup) or different ways one can potentially identify, I get emails and comments about how terminology is irrelevant and we are just who we are.

I agree to an extent but I also feel identifying as transgender or nonbinary or anything else can bring a great amount of comfort and community to someone, especially when they are just accepting and embracing themselves.

Personally I felt a lot less lonely when I learned the word crossdresser. All of a sudden I wasn’t a boy who wore girl clothes, I belonged to a larger community, a community so large that we had a name.

This article talks about how one can make a mistake (spoiler alert, I was the one who made the mistake) about terminology and how it can impact someone’s life.

Love, Hannah

  2. Hi Hannah,

    Another great article.

I love coffee but with cream.

I like football and hockey so I guess I like sports where people get hurt.

I like my beer way too much.

And my comfort zone is out in the forest, yes I do hunt. It is just serene without judgement. I have seen some amazing wildlife.

I am not a guy. My heart longs to be a women. I have taken many strides towards that.

I love plays and makeup and being a care giver.

I don’t know what i am. Most people call me complicated. A lot of time I call myself a freak.

in the end, I am just me. That’s all I can be.

You just keep being you because you are wonderful.

    Jodi
