Pillow Talk!

Hi! I have a new article for Pillow Talk, a series I am doing with Xdress

There’s a significant difference between discovering someone you know is transgender by stumbling upon their website or whatever and discovering their… spicy photoshoots.

I mean, you’ll probably have the shock that the dude you work with has a different gender identity than you had ever expected ANNNND then realize that they are not the introvert that they seem to be at the office.

Everyone is entitled to a personal life and no one is obligated to share EVERYTHING with EVERYONE that they know.

I am not worried about someone I know finding anything that I would prefer to keep secret, (for the reasons I mention in the above article) but I also have a life that borders on the fictional.

I mean, office gossip is one thing, but telling your colleagues that some guy they work with is transgender and does lingerie photo shoots?

Anyway, live your life, girls.

Love, Hannah

  1. Its funny, I look back on posting my first pics online back 20 years ago now and I remember being absolutely convinced (and scared!) that someone I knew was going to find the pics.

Hopefully it goes without saying that has not happened. That’s not to say it never happens, but if you post pics in spaces where someone would have to actively seek them out like Fetlife or a Trans site, etc. Then that person would also have to explain why they were looking for that kind of content.

I’m on Fetlife, Twitter, IG and lots of other places and I’ve even been going out en femme in the last year and so far I haven’t run into anyone I know and haven’t gotten any messages or anything,

Does that mean its impossible? No, its certainly possible, but not likely. If you want to put yourself out there, find a safe space and go with it. It can be a lot of fun, especially if you have a supportive community, yes there are sometimes negative interactions, but for me, those have been a rarity and overall I’ve enjoyed most of being out and about and being my femme self when I can.
