Hi! I have a new article for Pillow Talk, a series I am doing with Xdress!

This aspect of ourselves in a way contradicts itself.
On one hand, do we really need to have a long and nuanced reason why we like to wear panties? Isn’t enjoying something for what they are enough?
On the other hand…
As soon as we breathe our first breath we are inundated with binary gender standards. When I was born I am sure I was swaddled with a blue blanket and my path was set. From then on anyone who interacted with me did so under the influence of arbitrary gender roles.
And it’s not really their fault. They too were raised in a world where everything from colors to hobbies to everything else was either for a boy or a girl.
Gender roles are generational and have been passed down for centuries.
When anyone steps away from BOY STUFF to GIRL STUFF, everyone loses their minds, lol. Some people cannot comprehend WHY someone with certain genitalia would choose to wear THAT color or THOSE clothes.
The simple reason of “I just like panties” doesn’t seem like enough of a reason to break gender “tradition” so we are often faced with more complicated questions than what we feel is needed for simply preferring panties over ugly boy underwear lol.
Love, Hannah
There is no doubt that being raised as boys we are told many things we should not be or like.
Me, I love skirts cause there cute
I love sun dresses cause they just feel comfortable to wear.
So many of the guy wear seems restrictive
Yes so why is that a problem
Oh and yes I love very short shorts cause I have very nice legs to show off
It definitely should not be an issue but for some it is
