It’s been an upside down week as a housing renovation project disrupted our lives over the past few days. It required a lot of furniture moving and it required removing EVERYTHING from my closet and putting EVERYTHING into temporary storage and today I will be moving EVERYTHING back where it belongs.
Whether it is books or panties, sometimes I am a little self-conscious about how much STUFF I have.
Moving things around is kind of like opening a time capsule. A dress I bought five years ago is seened for the first time in forever. I’ll try to remember where I bought it from and the occasion I bought it for.
Going through all my clothes is a testament to how far I’ve come. Not in the sense of what I’ve accumulated but recalling a time when I wanted nothing more than ONE dress, or the courage to buy ONE pair of panties. Rewinding a couple of decades and who I was at twenty-five would be shocked at my wardrobe.
A dresser full of lingerie and a closet full of dresses doesn’t happen on its own. It doesn’t happen solely due to (possibly reckless) shopping. It happens by being honest with yourself and accepting yourself and embracing yourself.
The world is not going to give you permission to be who you are. That comes from within.
It’s a gift you give yourself.

Right on! A little over a year ago, I discussed wearing panties with my SO. Since then my panty collection has grown to exceed hers and I couldn’t be happier. She is not enthusiastic, but tolerates it.
Thank you for all your posts.

I agree 100%! The feminine clothing is a gift to yourself culled over years of looking, browsing and shopping! Any happy memories go into each one worn!

What a coincidence! I just gutted out my closet and drawers as the pink fog aftermath from shopping over the past year had become unmanageable. Literally found some items I hardly recall buying. Although I love my wardrobe, a reminder of my OCD and addictive part of my personality. Definitely going to stop shopping for a while as there are only so many varieties of dresses and clothes that a girl can choose from before the wardrobe starts to look saturated with dresses that look too similar. I blame part of my overzealous shopping to coming out later in life knowing there was list time and the clock is ticking. Fortunately I was able to afford this investment in myself and couldn’t imagine purging all of this work

And let’s face it, shopping for femme stuff is so much more fun than shopping for boy stuff
