I’m always caught off guard when I am asked how many is too many when it comes to, well, whatever we love to wear.
As long as things don’t get out of control and impact our finances and relationships, then there’s really not much you need to be conscious of. And this can be applied to anything we accumulate, whether it is panties, books, or whatever else we collect.
I suspect some of these questions come from those who wonder if the number of panties they own may indicate that perhaps all of *this* perhaps indicates that *this* is more than just a fetish/kink and perhaps indicative of something more.
What I mean is that if someone owns four or five pairs of panties, it may mean that sometimes they like to wear panties. But if you’re like me and have about a hundred pairs, it may mean that you wear panties every single day.
Wearing the occasional pair of panties as part of your underwear rotation is one thing, but exclusively panties is another, and perhaps is a sign that femme clothes are more than just a fetish/kink. It may be a bellwether that all of this is a sign that perhaps one’s gender identity is a little more nuanced than they expected.

For me it’s shoes. They’re like rabbits, they keep multiplying. Just this last year I’ve added maybe 12-14 pairs to my closet, with a equal number or more of dresses. I definitely need to purge some things, just not everything. Regards, Randi

You make an interesting point here, Hannah. I think it used to be a kink for me. I only wore lingerie occasionally and predominantly only before or during intimacy. But my lingerie collection has grown considerably and has become something I wear almost all of the time. I’m not sure if this says anything about my identity, but you’ve got me wondering. My motivations haven’t been planned, nor has the amount of lingerie I’ve purchased, but I’ve realised that my relationship with wearing lingerie has become something beyond a bit of fun and excitement.
