This past Saturday was the monthly MN T-Girls event and it was wild.
I mean, not literally wild. I just felt obligated to use an obviously cliched idiom considering where we went.
And where did we go? Glad you asked. We went to Wild Things Antiques and spent the afternoon looking at vintage clothes and furniture and old records and all the normal stuff that is found at antique thrift stores. And! They have a coffee shop INSIDE the shop.

“Shop” kind of undersells it as this is a 20,000 foot mall with different thrift and antique vendors from all over the state.
I’ve been wanting to go here since I first heard about this place. According to a recent MPR story, Wild Things is a designated sober space (and we need more of these) and is owned by a queer couple which helps create a wonderfully inclusive store (we need more of these as well).
There is a LOT to look at here and this is just some of the weirder stuff we found:

It was a super fun day and I found a cute dress that I can’t wait to share. It was lovely catching up with the girls that I haven’t seen in a few months.

Thank you Wild Things for a wonderful space. We will absolutely be back.
Love, Hannah
I must say you all look very nice.
