I LOVE DINOSAURS.

When I saw that the Children’s Theatre Company had a show called “Dinosaur World Live” scheduled for March I could hardly contain my excitement. I didn’t need more information beyond the title.
I was invited to see this on Friday and I was so giddy. All shows from this company are an amazing experience so I knew that I was in for a treat. I try to avoid learning anything about a production before I see it and I wanted to keep this particular show as much of a surprise as I could. The only thing I knew for sure is that there would be dinosaur puppets which is awesome because puppets are awesome AND despite what Hollywood has told us cloning isn’t as feasible as they suggest so this is the best way to see these amazing creatures for the moment.
And really, DINOSAUR PUPPETS is all you need to know. If you like these two words then you may as well stop reading and go see the show yourself. Avoid spoiling any surprises that you can.

But if you want to know more, perfect, because since I saw the show I cannot stop talking about it.
We meet Miranda, a plucky and spirited paleontologist played by Lizzie Burder who introduces the audience to different dinosaurs. She talks about when they lived and what they ate and if being taught by a dinosaur puppet isn’t a peak experience I don’t know what is.

The dinosaurs are breathtaking. Some of them are HUGE. Here are some of the dinosaurs from the show but as much as I want to show everyone how amazing every single one is, I don’t want to spoil the two BIGGEST and BEST stars of the show.

This was a wonderful show brought to life by people who respect the magnitude of dinosaurs and their wonder. The show runs through April 5th and I know I say this about every show I see at CTC but this is a phenomenal play and I hope you get a chance to see it.
Thank you to Children’s Theatre Company for a magical night.
Love, Hannah
