I see this article posted and tweeted every once in a while and I always, ALWAYS read it.
Women were asked what they do to make their life more whimsical, more magical, and more… well, fun. Small, simple things. The answers are absolutely charming.
Things like:
I wear matching pajamas every time I change my sheets so I can have what I call fancy sleep.
I call my to do list my TA DA list and do jazz hands as I tick things off.
I say ‘my lady’ whenever I walk by a mirror.
Love these. I’ve adopted a few of them and I am always looking for more small ways to make living in this chaotic world a little more enchanting.
If you are visiting my site, I am guessing that you probably identify as transgender, non-binary, as a crossdresser, or something similar.
Do you do anything to make your life more whimsical that is entwined with your gender identity or wardrobe preferences?
For example, when I travel for work I will pack cute lingerie for my hotel that I rarely wear. If I have a really boring meeting scheduled for the day I will wear the pinkest panties that have as much lace and ribbons as possible, lol.
Love, Hannah
I truly suck at whimsy. Today would be a good time to change that!

What a fun concept and list!
And bright pink panties DEFINITELY make a boring meeting better! 😀

Yeah, I’m the same when it comes to business travel. I bring the nightie that’s a bit too much for the average night at home. I also keep my toenails painted most of the time, even if I’m not going to be wearing sandals. It’s always a nice treat when I take my socks off at the end of the day, or when I’m having a soak in the bathtub.

I have a few things I like to do (nice frillies for a boring meeting etc is a given!), such as if getting changed I’ll stay in just my lingerie longer than necessary and maybe pop some washing on or make a phone call, basically anything to feel a bit more girly almost like the girls in movies seem to do (well back in the 80’s & 90’s movies seemed to!!).
I’ll also often take a slightly longer route then necessary if it means passing a bridal shop just so I can look at the gowns in the window and dream a little. If I can’t dress in anything girly because the wife is around for example I’ll often instead wear my male clothes with incorporates pink such as a pink polo shirt with pink toe tipped socks and boxers with pink lettering on them.
Oh and I have a pink electric toothbrush which was genuinely half the price of the identical black one (which gives me a legitimate reason to have it!), but it makes me smile every time I see it casually sitting in plain sight next to my bathroom sink!! There a probably more but those specific ones spring to mind!!

Anything I can.
Sometimes it’ll be wearing something that feels special to me. Sometimes it’ll be going somewhere that gives me tingles (sometimes that’ll be right outside the door… maybe the way a passing cloud looks in the moonlight, or the way that tree outside is silhouetted)…
and me standing there, sucking the magic out of a moment, wearing something that makes me feel like the person I have always wanted to be –
the person I hid inside during those churned, tangled times when living inside myself seemed to be the only viable option.

Mostly I just keep my toenails painted most of the time which gives me a nice thrill whenever I change my socks or get in the shower. Its a nice little thrill during the day. Of course, it did make for an interesting moment going for my annual dermatology check. Its a head-to-toe check. To their credit, the doctor was completely professional about it and asked if I painted them to cover any discoloration or anything, which was actually a really good question. I told them that I just liked to have them painted. They agreed it was a nice color and we moved on.
