Ask Hannah!

I wear a silicone breastplate but have a hard time putting it on. Often the silicone clings to and sticks to my body as I try to put it on which makes it hard to pull up or down my chest. This is especially frustrating on my back where I can not reach very well without possibly tearing it. Do you have any suggestions?

I have no experience with breastplates, sadly. I value the expertise and resources that The Breast Form Store offers, particularly their Learning Center. I peeked through their topics but didn’t see anything that I thought might be helpful.

I then popped over to Glamour Boutique who posted a video about slipping into one. The video makes it look very easy but I suppose the reality is very different.

There didn’t seem to be much on Youtube which usually has a lot of helpful tutorials about, well, all of this, but really nothing. I was expecting someone to recommend something along the lines of a lubricant, perhaps.

Can anyone out there help our girl out?

Love, Hannah

  1. I highly recommend exploring breast forms as alternative or simply going natural. Those are my personal preferences as a breast plate usually looks so unnatural unless one really knows what she is doing. To see the line where the plate meets skin when not done properly completely detracts from the entire presentation. I also suspect the plates get hot and uncomfortable.

    Just my two cents.
