This Monday (August 11th) is the Trans Equity Summit in Minneapolis.
According to their website, the summit is meant to:
Connect to resources
Connect with each other
Learn more about issues impacting their communities
Transgender activist Miss Major Griffin-Gracy will be the keynote speaker and there will also be workshops and other panels.
This looks like a really wonderful event. I wish I was able to attend however I just got back from a work trip and I leave for another work trip next week :P.

I tried to register three days ago but it was already sold out. ☹️ It’s great that it sold out, of course. That means there are a lot of people going. But I’m sad that I can’t.

Turns out it was a good idea to get on their waitlist. So it looks like I am going to get to attend. Yay!
