Ten Years of Photography and Phriendship!

Last month marked ten years of working with Shannonlee, my friend and photographer.

What started as a dream of getting professional pictures has evolved into one of the most important friendships in my life.

I like to do projects, and I like working with creative and talented people, and Shannonlee is just wonderful to work with. She’ll throw out an idea that makes zero sense but it will turn into an amazing photo.

Collaborations take trust (especially when we do boudoir photos) and I couldn’t ask for a better friend.

To celebrate, we did a photo shoot (how else would we celebrate?) last Saturday. We rented a hotel room in downtown Saint Paul and did pictures in the room, the hotel, and at the Saint Paul Depot.

My friend Sophie came along for her first shoot and it was fun watching my two friends work together.

Here are four of the outfits I wore. I can’t wait to see the final pictures.
