I think robots and computers can be very helpful when it comes to tedious things so we as humans can spend more time enjoying things that are, uh, enjoyable. Like creating art. Of course, work has only gotten more tedious and instead it’s the robots who are creating “art”.
Like, why do I have to create a monthly report for my boss with various metrics when that same information is provided to him every month already? It’s the exact same information but on two different reports.
Like, what are we doing here?

I don’t think I need to say this, but the above image, as well as all of the images that I do is made without AI. This stupid image came from my own stupid brain and was brought to life using Photoshop and my own limited skills.
Anyway, as I get older I am getting bitchier and I finally understand Brian Wilson when he said he just wasn’t made for these times. It’s unnerving that we as society seem to have torn down any sense of decorum and privacy and have no problem taking videos/pictures of anyone and everyone in public.
This has bled over to the internet and yes, I know, when you post something online it is subject to the whims of internet users. I get it. I know when I post a photo online that I am opening myself up to a wide array of reactions, comments, and messages.
Listen.
I KNOW that any photo can potentially lead to overtly sexual messages and the like, but I think my frustration is that I honestly believe that people CAN be decent people and for the most part people ARE decent people. I know that some people have no qualms about sending me photos of their penis but…. it doesn’t HAVE to be this way. Perhaps I expect too much out of people when it comes to being people asking for consent, but I don’t think being optimistic about people being GOOD is a bad way to live. Yes, it’s exhausting and probably naive but there you have it.
I’ve written before about my experiences with AI tools such as Grok and I admit that it’s quite impressive how realistic the photo manipulation is getting, but it’s the same level of impressiveness that a forest fire can create. Like, wow, that is… something but it’s something that is very dangerous if left unchecked.
I tweeted this picture not too long ago:

And another Twitter user invited Grok to do a little editing. Here is what they asked:

Here’s what Grok returned:

It’s a little weird realizing that Grok “knows” what a bimbo looks like it. I mean, someone had to program that, right?
I am a big fan of consent, and I think someone editing a photo of someone else requires consent. I know many people just see something online and just do what they want, whether it’s pirating a movie or editing a photo, but just because something has become “normal”, and just because someone CAN do something, it doesn’t mean it’s legal and/or ethical.
That level of hubris leads to dinosaur cloning, lol.
I would have preferred Meatball to have asked me if they could Grok me (or whatever) and I obviously would have said no but I would have appreciated their asking. Again, consent = big fan.
Who knows what ol’ Meatball’s intentions were. Were they fetishizing me? Maybe? Probably. If they were trying to humiliate me, well, nice try because this is an outfit I would totally wear, lol. But just because it’s an outfit I would love to wear, I only want to wear things (even digitally) if it’s my choice.
Anyway, if you have a request for an outfit you can just, you know, ASK me. You don’t have to be all creepy about it, lol.
Stuff like this is here to say and it’s mostly unregulated. It’s annoying, creepy, and problematic. I can’t fight it. I don’t have the energy.
Love, Hannah
