Aggressively Pointless

HI. ANYWAY.

I am traveling yet again for work in case you’re wondering why there is no post on Monday or why comments aren’t getting approved. I’ll be back on Wednesday and I’ll miss you.

I listened to a review of a television show in which they referred to an episode as being aggressively pointless. Like, the writers intentionally put in a lot of sincere effort to create something that was, well, pointless.

Loved that. Not everything has to be an award winning epic that says something about humanity or whatever. As soon as I heard that description I wanted to make something that was also aggressively pointless.

Good news, I think I did it. Remember when I dazzled you with this silly idea? Well, I made three more.

And yes, these three images are just as stupid as the original.

What’s funny about these things is that they take FOREVER to think of. Like, they’re stupid, but they have to be so ridiculous and unpredictable and hopefully, HOPEFULLY a TEENY bit clever. I just can’t throw anything together for the sake of the absurdity of it. It has to come completely out of left field but still land. Non-sequitur humor is always hilarious to me if it’s done right.

I hope you like them. I mean, they make ME laugh, which is my target audience for these things, but do you like them?
