Innovation used to always be a good thing. Throughout our history things were invented to make life easier and more efficient, whether it was indoor plumbing or advances in medicine.
Somewhere along the way innovations became, well, less exciting. As Jeff Goldbum’s character in ‘Jurassic Park’ said, we’ve spent so much time wondering if we could do something, we never considerered whether we should.
Things like the internet haven’t really made our lives easier. I mean, yes, it’s nice to be able to buy a movie ticket online or whatever, and it’s nice to be able to connect with someone quickly through texting, but in a broader sense we’ve replaced convience with increased expectations. Everyone having a smartphone has increased our expectations that everyone is reachable 24/7 and that we expect someone to respond immediately. It’s sad but I feel guilty when I shut my phone off on the rare instance when I go to the movies.
And AI? God. AI was well intended but as the technology “improves” at such an alarming rate it is going to continue to increase the suspicion we have of it. Deepfakes are going to continued to be used to push a narrative and to create doubt and fear and accusations and all that. It’s terrifying.
But it’s not all doom and gloom. It’s refreshing and encouraging when something NEW comes along that is fresh, innovative, and needed.
Ladies, I am beyond exciting to discuss TUCKING JEANS.
Tucking is nothing new to our community. We are familiar with tucking undergarments and gaffs, but actucal clothing beyond foundation items is an emerging and exciting world.
And yes, my equating tucking jeans with technology innovations is a little hyperbole but a little lightheartedness is a good thing these days.
Tcomfifits sent over a few items for me to try and tucking jeans were one of them.
From their website, tucking jeans are the original all-in-one tucking demin made in a 30+ years experienced professional facility. Ultra stretch fabric for a perfect fit and keep you clean, comfortable, and confidently tucked. No Tape Needed.
I was delighted to see that included with the jeans themselves there was a very simple but helpful tucking guide when it comes to which direction you should be pointing your genitalia when it comes to your tucking goal, whether comfort or effectiness. Tucking is an option, as far as I am concerned. We all have different bodies and different tolerances when it comes to, well, everything. The designers suggested two different techniques when it comes to what is generally more comfortable as well what is generally flatter/smoother.
And just a reminder: If your tuck is painful, then you’re doing it wrong.
Beyond the tucking feature, these jeans are, well, a dream. I like to wear femme jeans when presenting as masculine because femme jeans tend to be softer. However, there are some disadvanages when it comes to femme jeans. There are none of the typical downsides here.
For one, they are tailored to be the length we need. Finding jeans that are long enough for girls like us isn’t necessarily impossible, but I often find that I have to trade cute for practical. Yes, I could find jeans that are long enough, but after a certain length some stores and brands decide that they don’t have to make them cute anymore.
These jeans are the length I need BUT they are still cute. I am currenty strutting around in their Sculpt & Flare Tucking Bootcut Jeans. I love a little flair and I love a little FLARE because theses jeans in particular create a little bit of a shape past the knees. Subtly femme, absolutely flattering.

And that is absolutely intended here. Again, from their website:
We’ve also mastered the art of “Visual Architecture.” The flare cut isn’t just a nostalgic nod—it’s a tool to balance broader shoulders and create a V-to-X hourglass transition. Combined with our 3D whiskering that blurs rigid lines, this jean doesn’t just fit your body; it celebrates your identity.

And they have pockets. REAL pockets.
As I said I wear femme jeans when I am preseting as masculine but if they aren’t subtly femme then it’s not as fun. These are the jeans I have been looking for. Cute and without compromise.

I also got to try a cute sports bra and leggings set.
I’ll admit I was highly skeptical of finding new leggings to replace my current go-to. I like a slim fit, I like when my leggings hug my body from my hips to my ankles. When I opened their Tucking Leggings High-Rise Flare I could see that they flared from just below the knee.
Again, I love the flared look, but for leggings??
Okay, I LOVE THESE.

These leggings also have a built in tucking support. From their site: No more juggling multiple garments. These leggings have a sewn-in mesh thong-style panel that provides comfortable tucking support. By wearing this single piece, you’ll experience better airflow and less bulk than layering a separate tucking panty and regular leggings.
I could easily and comfortable tuck AND they have a high waist. Similar to femme jeans leggings usually require a compromise. I CAN find leggings that are long enough BUT I usually have to sacrifice length for hardly any waist support. A good pair of leggings should hold my tummy in but without waist support leggings can look very unflattering.

Not these! These are lovely. Like the flare jeans they are long enough for my super long legs AND they hold my midsection. AND my butt looks amazing, lol.
Seriously this is not unlike finding the Fountain of Youth or something. Finally finding something you didn’t know COULD exist, but here we are.

I’ve been trying to find options for expressing my femme and non-binary identity when I am not able to present femme, and I am beyond thrilled to have these items as part of my wardrobe.
Thank you Tcomfifts for your masterful designing and for these items.
Love, Hannah
