Do you have any recommendations for brands of quality and attractive pantyhose?
Actually! I do not, lol.
I almost exclusively wear tan thigh highs…
…but depending on the outfit I’ll wear black stockings or tights. Sometimes I’ll go extra faaaaancy and strut around in seamed stockings but usually only for photo shoots.
I don’t really have a preference for hosiery. I mainly buy Hanes thigh highs as they are relatively affordable. I prefer thigh highs for two main reasons:
- If a pair of tights or pantyhose snags, I have to toss it. If one stocking tears, I just change one stocking and the other is still presentable
- Wearing thigh highs with my corset is not only sexxxxxier but it’s also more functional and quicker when I use the ladies room

I’m the girl on the other side of the nylons coin. I love, and I mean, I LOVE pantyhose!
Especially suntan and skin-toned pantyhose!
It wasn’t always that way since I debuted in real nylon stockings and I hated pantyhose when they first came on the market.
But I’ve grown to love them over 50+ years of wearing them since the days of L’Eggs in the plastic eggs.
My day-to-day favorites are Hanes Silk Reflections, which you can still find in most department stores.
The Euro brands like Pretty Polly and Aristoc are also nice to wear, but you’ll probably have to buy them on the Internet.
Even though my legs are lasered and smooth, there’s just something about the “pop” a pair of pantyhose give them that I really appreciate.

Hi Ginimac! I’m glad to find someone else who loves suntan pantyhose. I have tights and pantyhose in every color and pattern, but usually end up wearing my suntan L’eggs Sheer Energy. There’s something about my legs looking bare except for a silky sheen that I simply adore:)

I also love Legg’s sheer energy pantyhose – the best of all value and feel and look – and they do hold in the silicone hip pads perfectly.

I’m with you on pantyhose. Over many years and brands, I have come to the conclusion that I prefer Cecilia de Rafael over most others. Different styles for different folks but they look and feel fantastic. I get them through “The Tight Spot” out of the UK (if I recall correctly) whose service is excellent. Sizing may be a bit dicey for some and a tad on the expensive side nowadays but worth it IMHO if you like quality legwear. They are lovely…😉

Hi Tanit! Nothing ruins my day like a run in my pantyhose, so I usually shy away from the more “fragile” fancy brands. But after looking into your preferred brand, I may need to make an exception and just be super careful!

I love wearing pantyhose. Silken Mist from the Legg’s brand. Suntan and Black mist are my favorite colors and they are very smooth on the legs. Hanes is a good brand also when I’ve worn them. I prefer a control top to keep my hip pads in place and keeping my flaw tucked away. Lol.

I’ll add myself to the pantyhose fans. When I started dressing, it was pre-pantyhose so I wore my mother’s stockings. I was quite young and had problems with the garter tabs. Once she started buying pantyhose, I was hooked. Off-topic, but her girdles got me hooked on them also.

Who didn’t start crossdressing with a pair of their mom’s or sisters nude pantyhose or stockings and garter. Unlike marriage, variety is the spice of life when it comes to your legs. So many styles, colours, and material compositions. I prefer stockings with high den which makes them more slippery and opaque. The wife prefers more sheer stockings on her or me. Who am I fooling I like them all as the feeling is incredible just like the first time. One thing to note. Almost all pantyhose/tights make no accommodation for your boys (balls). Having gone commando since high school, my boys aren’t very comfortable being jammed up like that. Some styles come with a pouch for your goods making them much more comfortable to wear for long periods. Styles with open or closed sheaths for your manhood are also fun to try. Although they also make no accommodation for your boys. Recently I’ve been wearing a lot of open crotch if it’s a pantyhose kind of day. They need to invent mantyhose for crossdressers that take our physic into consideration. Lol All this talk. I’m going to slip on a pair of cuban heel stockings. Another one of my favourites. 😻❤💋

Gotta be honest. I have totally fallen for Sheertex tights. Every ad you see for them is accurate. They are super strong and soft to wear. They come in a variety of shapes and style patterns. They have a wonderful yoga pants style waistband that stays put and comfortable. They can be a bit pricey but they are almost always on some kind of sale and once you try them your might not go back to drugstore tights. They really do last a while so the money is worth it. ( side note to Hannah. They also have a selection of thigh highs with the same strength. You might want to check them out if you havent already. ) I used to wear leggs pretty exclusively but ive almost totally converted. Also if you are looking for tights that are made for your “boys” check out Threads. They have a style designed specifically for that.

I’m so happy to join this conversation! I LOVE pantyhose and years ago I methodically tested many brands & styles to see which met my criteria to become my go-to hose.
They may say gentlemen prefer Hanes but for me, nothing beats a great pair of L’eggs… specifically Sheer Energy. The control top keeps my tuck in place without strangling my tummy, they don’t sag and need to annoyingly be adjusted all day, & they are fairly run resistant. I’ll often wear them 10+ a day without wanting to take them off.
I have a drawer full of super-sheer and patterned hose for special occasions, but for most days and events, this lady loves L’eggs❤
