I was thinking last night as I was preparing for sleep that I talk a lot about my love for dresses, panties, lingerie, and heels.
But I don’t think nightgowns get the love they deserve.
I have about six nightgowns that range from super short (of course) and long, flowy ones. I get a little bored rotating between them and I think I need to add more to my wardrobe.
It’s a little silly feeling bored about wearing something that I am not even conscious for but no one has ever accused me of being practical.
Anyone else love nightgowns? Is there one you recommend so I can it to my rotation?

I don’t have any recommendations but I think you actually need to thank China for your lingerie 😊. At this time of year, I am thankful for not being alone and that I have family. There are many CD’s and Transgender people that lose their marriages, family, and friends all because they are trying to become their true self. My heart goes out to those that will be alone through the Holidays. Know that you may feel lonely but you are not alone.

I also love my nightgowns, I have at least 7 full length ones with matching robe, not to mention the dozen or so shorter ones, and some of them have a matching robe. The main reason is my wife, after “the talk” first started letting me dress for nighttime. The rest of my wardrobe came later as she reduced her restrictions. Merry Christmas to everyone!!!!!

I am actually wearing the new Shadowline Roscoe full slip and half slip in mint with silky panties in bed while I respond, I own well over 30 silky nighties and wear one to bed everynight when I am not sleeping in a silky full slip and lacy half slip. I just love the silky feeling against my skin and have enjoyed sleeing in them for decades. Yes, thanks for solky nighties!!!!

I love when I get the (too infrequent) opportunity to sleep in my nightgown. I have short black nightgown that I purchased at Target. Nothing fancy, but it makes me feel special❤️

Yes, I love nightgowns too, and I need to get more. The thing is that I like a really long one to wear around the house in the evening, but then I prefer a shorter lighter one to actually sleep in, since I tend to be a very hot sleeper. And it feels a little silly to change out of one and into another before crawling into bed! Haha!
That said, at our last visit to Allure I bought a super fluffy and mega cozy hooded nightgown. And I am 100% in love with it! It is definitely the most comfortable thing I’ve ever worn. Full stop. But of course it’s way too warm to sleep in. So in the winter I can get away with my bedtime nightie switcheroo! I’m just worried that I’m gonna wear this thing out by the end of this winter, and it hasn’t even gotten really cold yet!

I only have one long nightgown and 3 babydoll negligees, and a favorite baby doll with a lace robe.
I sleep in a separate bedroom from my SO and I sleep in my negligee of choice !!! Since I live in the Northeast, when its cold , I will sleep in silk pajamas.

If it’s not a slip than it has to be a nightgown , the softness caressing my skin , the feel when I touch the material , the feel of it on my nipples as I have breasts , 18 months of hrt . I love them .

Shadowline makes fantastic nighties, although they’re a bit pricey. A nightgown and peignoir set runs about $120. Although they make sexy ones, those that I buy aren’t necessarily sexy, but they’re as girly as they come. Note that many of Shadowline’s customers, most of whom (I assume) are women, say the same thing in reviews.
I keep two sets, assuming that one is always in the wash. They usually have a “25% off” sale about twice a year, so I can purchase two sets for $90 apiece.
Shadowline merged with Dixie Belle ad one other company a few years back. Their service has slipped a bit since then, but still is adequate.
I’ve been Shadowline’s customer for over 20 years. When it’s time to buy new nighties, I sometimes look around, but usually end up buying Shadowline.

You would fall over it you seen my collection of nightgowns. I have been collecting double layer nightgowns for 40 years from thrift stores and eBay when they were reasonably priced. My late wife loved to see me in my collection.

I remember many a night as a young girl sleeping in a “borrowed” layered nylon tricot nighty.
60+ years later and I still LOVE my nighties. There’s something SO MAGICAL about having my body covered with sheer nylon!
