Ask Hannah!

I am a beginner crossdresser. What should I have besides bras. panties, and shoes?

It sounds like you have the essentials! And I’m serious, lol. When I started to purchase my own clothes, lingerie and heels were the first things that found their way into my closet.

The reality is that there’s nothing you should have. There is not a set dress code to be a crossdresser or really anything. The wonderful thing about accepting and embracing your gender identity is allowing yourself to wear anything you wish, whether it’s a pink thong or a wedding dress.

What do YOU want to wear?

If you’re not quite sure what to add to your soon to be expanding wardrobe, have you considered a nightgown? Or a matching camisoles and panty? Xdress has a lot of cute sets and I wear them when I underdress.

Have fun and beware the Pink Fog.

Love, Hannah

  1. When I was a child I couldn’t understand why girls got to wear all the fun pretty clothes and I couldn’t. Girls got so much social reinforcement with all the compliments from adults. Furthermore, the more pretty and delicate their dresses were, the more they were excused from physical activity like sports. Then when I discovered girls weren’t pre-programmed to like dresses, that some of them actually hated wearing them, I felt all the more left out from something I knew in my heart I would love if I just had permission to indulge in it. Why was I programmed to like something I wasn’t supposed to be interested in. The gender binary for clothes is a ridiculous social construct and I reject it!
