The Twin Cities Pride Festival is this weekend and the MN T-Girls will be there!
The Pride festival is a LOT of work and it costs a LOT of money and every year I wonder if this year will be the last one we go to, but once I am there I remember how important it is that we, along with the rest of the LGBTQ+ community and our allies, are there.
And it’s getting really repetitive to say this, but this year it’s more important than ever that we are showing up for ourselves and for each other.
I will be there on Saturday (if you want to see me) but not on Sunday (if you want to avoid me). We will be in the green zone, booth 217.

Wishing I could be there with you all—one day I so want to make it to a bigger Pride event like this. The ones near me are small and sweet, but it’s not the same as feeling that huge, collective energy. I love that the MN T-Girls keep showing up. It does matter. Thank you for making that space.

The lady in the picture looks like a super nice weather girl who is pointing out that there is a 100% chance of localized pink-heart love showers forecast for the green-zone that day. I wish we had more. Shawna.
