I write a LOT about relationships and, well, whoever we are, because it’s the topic I am asked the most about. I am often asked about how my wife and I made all of THIS work and how I found someone who was accepting of my crossdressing and eventually my evolved gender identity.
The truth is (and I am guessing this is the same for many of us) is that she was not 100% onboard with all of this when I came out to her. It’s not something that is usually brought up on a first date.
Getting to know someone, the person they REALLY are, takes time and patience and honesty and transparency.
