What did YOU do this weekend? The MN T-Girls went freaking ICE SKATING for our monthly event. And it was just as fun and terrifying as it sounds. I have a friend who manages an ice rink and we were lucky to sneak in for a few hours to live out our Tara Lipinski and Nancy Kerrigan dreams.
We had the whole arena to ourselves and I should have known this but it was REALLY cold in there. I mean, I am not stupid and I know ice needs to be kept frozen but I was not prepared for how cold it was.
However, I was prepared when it came to my ice skating outfit.
I was somehow overdressed AND underdressed at the same time. I am a tough girl but after a few shaky loops around I put on my coat.
There were four of us skating and slipping and laughing and trying our best to twirl. It was so fun but my goodness it was exhausting.
It was a dream come true and then I made another dream come true.
This little group is now in our thirteenth (?) year and we’ve done so many fun things but this one will remain a highlight for a long time.

Yet another amazing time for the group – I spend a bit of time at a rink in male mode and even the elite skaters don’t wear a dress like that until a competition! Love the picture on the ice resurfaced, you look beautiful.
