Hi! I love creating Photoshop images to accompany my wandering writings.
Wandering, I feel, is a little classier than saying rambling. Rambling conjures up some drunk cowboy in some saloon somewhere just babbling on about God knows what and telling a story that is just pointless and you are wondering just where in the hell it’s going.
That is an oddly specific image.
Wandering feels like I am walking aimlessly around my brain and plucking a thought here and there and hoping everything makes sense and is somehow connected in the end. Sometimes it works.
Anyway, unless the article I am writing has a specific photo that is part of the writing, I want to have at least one image so the post isn’t just a wall of text. I started to play around with Photoshop and create images that represented what I was blogging about. Most of these images were meant to be silly.
But one thing I love is working with people who are smarter, funnier, and more talented than I am. Which isn’t tooooo hard to find, lol.
My friends Sophia and Blanca are smarter and more skilled than I will ever hope to be. If I am struggling with something I can just ask if they’d like to take a swing at something and their work never disappoints.
When Sophie and I started work on One Minute with Hannah McKnight, I sent over two images and a few notes of what I was thinking for the introduction. This is what I sent her:

The first one is an okayish idea but poorly executed and the second one is just too sexy (well, I think it’s sexy) for the silly concept. I knew it wasn’t the right image for it but I made it anyway because I can’t resist sexxing up things that have no business being erotic.
Being the talented bitch she is, she took the first image idea, added some animation, paired with the perfect theme song, and created something that makes me laugh every single time I see it. It’s rare when a picture completely captures the spirit of an idea, but that’s Sophie for you.
Blanca is a blogger in her own right and she has done a lot of images for the site over the last few months. Here are two that I haven’t shown you yet.

I mean, GODDAMN.
I love fake movie posters and fake book covers so these two really tickle me.
I don’t know how she does it, but she shared a little of her process on her website recently.
I love what these girls can create and I want to keep throwing ideas at them to see what they do. As I mentioned I love smart and creative people and watching them work and seeing what they create is simply a joy and a reminder how wonderful it is to know wonderful people.
Thank you ladies.
Love, Hannah
I’m truly flattered to be mentioned alongside an incredibly talented girl. To have my name associated with you two incredibly creative ladies is such an honor. Your work, vision, artistry, and originality are truly inspiring. It’s a wonderful compliment and I’m sincerely grateful for being able to collaborate with you. Thank you!

Yep, It’s official… I am an old dinasour living in a AI phony world with everything made on a screen, just look at the current several movies that are making a billions. I was in Madison Sat. dressed very cute and sexy. My appearance may have confused a couple of young girls but it was real and it was me. Mary Jo
