How can I remove my hair?
I assume this question is about body hair, and like almost EVERYTHING in life, the answer is It Depends.
It depends on your budget and your goals. There’s a LOT of options and some are more expensive than others and some are more temporary than others. For this particular topic, it also depends on your skin and your hair. Thicker and darker hair is probably going to be more stubborn than other kinds.
If money is no objection and you want your hair to be permanently removed, then laser/electrolysis is probably the way to go. And yes, there are a lot of home products that allow you to do this yourself, but I tend to be pretty skeptical of these options. When it comes to anything medical (and yes, doing something to your skin is absolutely a medical procedure).
Less expensive but not permanent is waxing. If you have hair SOMEWHERE, it can *probably* be waxed. Yes, even THERE. Annnnnd there.
Is waxing painful? It depends on your pain tolerance but in my experience it’s something you can get used to.
After waxing, shaving and hair removal products, such as Nair and Veet are the next affordable but not as long lasting as waxing. This article discusses my experience when it comes this option. Skin can be sensitive so some products may irritate your skin more than others.
Not everything will work for everyone.
And yes, these options are time-consuming and require commitment. It can be overwhelming to shave the areas you want to be smooth but doing this consistently makes the process easier and quicker. I do a full body hair removal once a week. Skipping a week makes this process longer and a little irritating. Body hair regrowing tends to be itchy.
If you’ve gone years or even decades of growing body hair, a razor is probably not going to be effective the first time you shave. I would suggest waxing that area first and then keeping up on regular shaving as the hair starts to regrow.
Your skin is your body’s largest organ. It’s essential you are respecting it and treating it properly.

Why does hair grow everywhere you don’t want it and not one hair where you do want hair…. I had laser hair removal about 8 years ago… Best thing ever, esp. on the face and neck…. did my legs and chest as well. Was not very hairy to start with except for face but made dressing so much quicker. Have to have dark hair for laser to work… It is so much easier to shave as the white/grey hairs shave so easy and the much less dense.. I did find that expensive makeup was too thin and fine for coverage and just thought it was made for females with smooth, young skin.. I do believe in keeping it simple to start to avoid getting frustrurated. Its kinda like NASCAR, getting from 209 to 210 mph takes as much work and expense as getting from 1 too 208 mph. Mary Jo

I should add that maybe with a good foundation (that Hannah talked about in her link,) the coverage of a more expensive makeup may work better. I use the makeup stick Kyrolon. (kinda pastie however) but found a foundation on TEMU that is wonderful, more of a creamy texture…In a flatter shaped plastic container that you twist out and apply like a deoderent stick.. everyone will have to explore what works. Just in the interest of clarity: If this question wasn’t about body hair, then I think all of the advice provided probably still applies. Bald is beautiful too.
