Peaceful, Speakeasy Feeling

This past Saturday was the monthly MN T-Girls event and we went shopping! And antiquing! And drinking!

Don’t worry, I had a mocktail which was delicious.

There are a lot of cute little neighborhoods and communities around the state and it was fun to discover one more: downtown Anoka.

Anoka is about thirty minutes north of the Twin Cities and has all sorts of cute shops including Avant Garden, a super inclusive coffee shop and bookstore. There were antique shops, a gaming store, and yes, a lingerie boutique. It was SO fun.

About ten of us met up and we spent the afternoon wandering around enjoying the day. We finished our adventure at Nucky’s Speakeasy, a very cool prohibition era restaurant and bar that REALLY leans into it, including needing a password to get in. Fortunately we had a wonderful tour guide who got us in. 😉

I should have taken more pictures but I did get photos of our amazing group when we finally sat down.

But I did get a photo of me, overdressed as usual.

Love, Hannah
