Game Girls

If I have learned anything in the over ten years of organizing MN T-Girls events it’s that I really never know what will be appealing to the group. I think I have done a fairly decent job of organizing fun and interesting events but I have also planned events that are as fun as a ripped stocking.

The October event really surprised me with how fun it was AND the enthusiasm from the girls. It wasn’t anything super fancy but it was still super fun.

We met at Bruhaven, a brewery in Minneapolis for games and drinks (many yummy non-alcoholic options!) Some of us dressed up to celebrate the spooooky season. I wore The Dress.

We played card games and I learned a few new games and lost every single one. I didn’t pass go and collect $200 or sink any battleships but it was still a super fun afternoon. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Bruhaven and all of the girls who brought games and patiently taught us how to play them. The highlights were Love Letter and Codenames.

A lovely autumn afternoon and friends, what could be better?

Love, Hannah
